Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) recently announced the extension of the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) for the next three years. The funding includes up to $16.1 million in OFCAF funding to the CFGA.

The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) was in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador, on Jan. 28 for the Government of Canada’s announcement of over $300 million for Canadian farmers to adopt sustainable practices.

A grazing plan is a tool to gather all the relevant information to prepare you for the grazing season. This makes the winter months a perfect time to develop a rotational grazing plan for your operation.

We’re pleased to announce funding is now available for 2024 projects under the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF). The first intake is March 8 - 15 and a second intake will take place April 1 - 30.
