The CFGA is excited to be working with Nature United on a three-year research project aimed at understanding trends in the condition and extent of Canadian grasslands.

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) recently announced the extension of the On-Farm Climate Action Fund (OFCAF) for the next three years. The funding includes up to $16.1 million in OFCAF funding to the CFGA.

It’s Canadian Agricultural Safety Week (CASW) and this year farmers, farm families, farm workers and farming communities are encouraged to prioritize #FarmSafetyEveryday.

The HBAT is an online tool for agriculture landowners interested in stewardship. It is designed to assist users to explore and implement practices that are beneficial to local species, while improving ecosystem goods and services.

Dr. John Pattison-Williams, president of Pattison Resource Consulting and an adjunct professor at the University of Alberta, presented at the CFGA’s 15th Annual Conference.
