The CFGA has launched early bird registration for its 16th annual conference. Organized in partnership with the NBSCIA, this year’s conference will take place at the historic Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fredericton, NB, Nov. 18-21.

Three panelists – Tom Wright, Courtney Vriens and Patrick Lynch – took part in the Field to Feed Panel at the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association’s (CFGA) 2025 conference in Guelph, Ontario, in December.

The CFGA is working with the New Brunswick Soil and Crop Improvement Association (NBSCIA) to bring its 16th annual conference to the historic Crowne Plaza Hotel in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Nov. 18 to 21.

Hari Poudel is a forage breeding research scientist at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s (AAFC) Lethbridge Research and Development Centre, one of four dynamic forage breeding programs operating across the country.

Based in Eden, New York, John Winchell has been involved in dairy cattle nutrition for over 25 years, with a focus on forage quality through data on harvest analytics and forage harvest timing.

Dr. Martin Chantigny’s talk at the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association’s (CFGA) 2025 conference in Guelph, Ontario, in December focused on the advantages of introducing perennial crops into annual cropping systems.

Dr. Angela Straathof is the director of research and knowledge transfer at the Ontario Soil and Crop Improvement Association (OSCIA), she presented at the CFGA’s 15th Annual Conference in December 2024.

The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA), Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA) and Pollinator Partnership (P2) are seeking nominations for the Farmer-Rancher Pollinator Conservation Award.

Monica Hadarits, is the executive director of the Canadian Roundtable for Sustainable Beef (CRSB), a multi-stakeholder not-for-profit organization which advances continuous improvement in sustainability of Canadian beef.
