Back To All

Join us for a field tour of the University of Alberta Roy Berg Kinsella Research Ranch!

The tour will begin at the Kinsella Community Centre, where participants can park their vehicles and board a bus to travel to several locations across the ranch. Along the way, attendees will hear about ongoing research projects, gain insights from local producers, take part in a plant identification exercise, enjoy a drone demonstration and learn more about the innovative work being conducted at the ranch.

For cattle health and biosecurity reasons, please wear clean footwear or boots that have not been worn on another cattle operation. A boot wash station and sanitizer will be available upon arrival and departure, if needed.

Please note that some tour stops will require walking through field sites and on uneven terrain. Appropriate footwear and the ability to walk moderate distances are recommended.

Cost: $25 per person
Included: Hot lunch
