The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) has launched the Kids Grazing Plan Challenge, inviting youth across Alberta to put their pasture planning skills to the test and learn more about rotational grazing. Participants will have the chance to win exciting prizes while exploring how to care for their pasture, livestock and the environment.
To take part, participants are asked to design their own grazing plan using Google Maps or by drawing it out. Each submission should include a legend, grazing chart, three photos and a short description explaining how the plan works for them. Helpful resources are available from CFGA.

This initiative is supported by 4-H Alberta, 4-H Alberta Northwest Region and 4-H Alberta Northeast Region. CFGA encourages all interested youth to participate and showcase their creativity and understanding of sustainable grazing practices.
