Nova Scotia HBAT Launch

The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is hosting a series of launches for its new provincial Habitat and Biodiversity Assessment Tools (HBAT). As part of the launch, we will review the progress of the project over the past several years and demonstrate the tool. We will wrap up with a look to the future with new priorities.

Save the date for this FREE on-farm demonstration field day. This informal event will focus on a seeding trial looking at relay annual crops to increase grazing opportunities, discuss how to measure soil health traits in the field, and look at various electric fencing and livestock watering.

The BC Forage Council will make stops in Quesnel and Williams Lake, BC on Feb 13th for the Forage Roadshow to cover topics of grazing, nutrition, and cover cropping. Join in Quesnel from 10am - 2:30pm or in Williams Lake from 6 - 9pm.
