Kevin Budd & Family at Katahdin View Farms alongside Farmers for Climate Solutions, NBSCIA, AAFC and the FaRM program are hosting an on-farm tour of grazing and cropping systems on Aug. 16. This event is centred around Rotational Grazing & opportunities of Cover Cropping and will involve a tour of the Budd’s grazing and cropping systems and a presentation by guest speakers Jason Wells (NBDAAF forage specialist) and Dave Walker (NBSCIA research coordinator and crop specialist) on pasture soil fertility, cover cropping and nutrient management.
