NBSCIA will be at the Connors’ Farm from 1-4pm Wednesday, August 9th. Join them for an afternoon of refreshments and speaking with local farmers. Come on a field tour of the various crops being grown on the farm and watch a demo of their new no-till seeder. Guest speaker David Walker, crops specialist, will be joining to speak on the topics of nutrient management and cover cropping.

The Ontario Forage Council’s advanced grazing mentors are doing a series of pasture walks to demonstrate the elements of rotational grazing. Along with fencing demos and networking opportunities, they will offer information on water systems, carrying capacity, precision pasture management and more.
