December: How to Plan a Field Day

As part of the Grazing Mentor Program, the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is hosting a four-part series called Extending Your Reach as a Mentor. Each month, guest speakers will discuss various approaches for expanding the scope and reach of your mentoring services. December’s topic is How to Plan a Field Day and will offer steps and strategies for organizing a field day, including how to choose a site, develop a schedule, and budget for the event. Don’t miss it!

This meeting is offered as part of the CFGA Grazing Mentor program. Access to continuing education opportunities is one of the benefits of becoming a mentor with the CFGA. We have opened this December meeting to the public for prospective mentors to get a taste of the program. Interested in becoming a mentor? Contact [email protected].

All meetings in this series:

Sept. 2 – How to Start a Grazing Club

Oct. 7 – Branching Out: Alternative Grazing

Nov. 4 – Promoting Yourself as a Mentor

Dec. 2 – How to Plan a Field Day – open to the public!
