Madeleine is a knowledge officer with the Living Labs Division at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). She recently completed her master’s of science in extension at the University of Guelph with a focus on climate-smart soils. In her current role, she supports the management and exchange of knowledge both within and beyond AAFC’s nationwide network of living labs. She also helps accelerate the adoption of beneficial management practices and technologies by Canadian farmers.

Adoption is a key measure of success of any research or program. Madeleine’s presentation at the CFGA’s 14th annual conference will investigate knowledge exchange and its role in successful, long-term adoption of practices and technologies in the agricultural sector.
