Le Paysan Gourmand demo site is located in Saint-Félix-de-Kinsey on a cattle production farm.
About the Farm
Le Paysan Gourmand is owned by Jacob and Rosemarie Morin. They firmly believe in raising the healthiest and most tasty beef, which is why, for more than 10 years, our beef has been raised and finished only on pasture and hay. They are developing their dream of sustainable and local agriculture. The issues of agriculture are part of their lives and that is what drives them to improve their methods and techniques. They believe it is possible to be productive while taking care of the environment. It is also important for them to offer quality, fresh and delicious products.
Cows graze 365 days a year using different methods to optimize their comfort and performance.
The Rotational Grazing Objective
This project aims to promote grazing through an event with the Angus association.
Agronomic Details
No seeding occurred on this demonstration site. Fencing installation was completed on May 28, 2023. Water system installation was completed during the fall of 2022
