The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is pleased to be part of this exciting hybrid event featuring Brian Dougherty, a consultant with Understanding Ag, hosted at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) Williams Lake and co-hosted with Community Futures Cariboo Chilcotin.

Forage Council (BCFC) for an engaging keynote presentation, “Integrating Livestock on Cropland to Improve Productivity and Profitability,” where Brian Dougherty will share practical strategies for enhancing soil health, reducing input costs and improving overall farm profitability through strategic livestock integration.

Brian brings a wealth of experience from both hands-on farming and academic research. After 17 years managing his family’s Iowa dairy farm, he earned advanced degrees in ecological engineering and agricultural biosystems. His work now focuses on helping farmers and ranchers transition to regenerative agriculture practices that strengthen both the land and the bottom line.

Whether attending in person or virtually, this is an excellent opportunity to learn from one of the leading voices in regenerative agriculture.
