The Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is proud to support its provincial partner, the Ontario Forage Council, as Forage Focus continues this early winter. The popular three-day webinar series runs December 2, 3 and 4, offering free nightly sessions packed with expert insights for forage and livestock producers.
Day 2 features Adrian Rivard and Mike Verhoog for “Drones in Forages: A Digested Breakdown of Their Advantages.” Together, they’ll explore how drone technology can support forage production and strengthen crop management on today’s farms.
Adrian founded Drone Spray Canada in 2020 after a 15-year career as a professional pilot. Returning to his family farm in 2018, he combined his aviation experience with agriculture to become a leader in drone application technology.
Mike Verhoog operates Sutom Family Farms near Stratford, where he grows high-quality forage for his dairy herd. Over the past five years, he has integrated drone application tools into his operation, blending traditional dairy farming with innovative, sustainable practices.
These sessions qualify for CCA CEUs and are OSCIA-recognized Knowledge Sharing Events for farmers with OFCAF applications in the Rotational Grazing category.
Producers can register for one, two or all three evenings.
