October: Branching Out – Alternative Grazing
As part of the Grazing Mentor Program, the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) is hosting a four-part series called Extending Your Reach as a Mentor. Each month, guest speakers will discuss various approaches for expanding the scope and reach of your mentoring services. October’s topic is Branching Out: Alternative Grazing and will explore some considerations for adding alternative grazing species, such as small ruminants, to your mentoring services. Don’t miss it!
NOTE: This is a closed meeting for CFGA grazing mentors only. Access to continuing education opportunities is one of the benefits of becoming a mentor with the CFGA. Interested in becoming a mentor? We are opening our December meeting to the public for prospective mentors – register HERE.
All meetings in this series:
Sept. 2 – How to Start a Grazing Club
Oct. 7 – Branching Out: Alternative Grazing
Nov. 4 – Promoting Yourself as a Mentor
Dec. 2 – How to Plan a Field Day – open to the public!
