As the year draws to a close and the holiday season arrives, the Canadian Forage and Grassland Association (CFGA) extends heartfelt wishes to our members, partners and the entire forage and grassland community across Canada.
This season is a time to pause, reflect and celebrate the resilience and dedication of those who work tirelessly to steward our grasslands and support Canada’s agricultural sector. From coast to coast, farmers, researchers and industry partners have contributed to advancing sustainable practices, strengthening food security and ensuring that our grasslands continue to thrive for generations to come.
The holidays also remind us of the importance of community. Just as grasslands are interconnected ecosystems, our sector thrives through collaboration, shared knowledge and collective effort. Together, we’ve achieved meaningful progress this year and we look forward to building on that momentum in 2026.
Please note that the CFGA offices will be closed for the holiday season from Dec. 24, reopening on Jan. 2, 2026. During this time, our team will be taking a well-deserved break to recharge and spend time with loved ones.
There will be no new blog posts until Jan. 5, 2026, when we return with fresh updates and insights for the forage and grassland community.
On behalf of the CFGA, we wish you joy, peace and prosperity this holiday season. May the new year bring continued growth, innovation and success for Canada’s forage and grassland sector.
Happy Holidays from all of us at the CFGA!
